Posted on September 2, 2019

The University of Canterbury is  pleased to invite  Year 12 and 13 students to attend their humanities careers evening on Wednesday 23 October.
Students will have the chance to learn more about the University of Canterbury’s wide range of degree options in the humanities and engage with a variety of speakers who have gone on to use their humanities background in their careers.

Guest speakers will discuss their own career pathways, what they value about humanities, and what they have accomplished with their degrees.

Humanities can be a confusing area of interest for students as it includes such a diverse range of subjects. This evening is designed to highlight the ways humanities prepares students for their working life and the future work possibilities available to them.

This event is intended for students interested in art history, cinema studies, classics, history, cultural studies, digital humanities, english, philosophy, fine arts, or music.
